Actually this is the only release by SOUL DEVOURER and it seems the band isn't really active as even their Myspace isn't updated. A pity because their sole record is not bad at all, good sounding for a demo, SOUL DEVOURER plays some traditional brazilian death metal, you know with this infernal touch that KRISIUN once created. Except that SOUL DEVOURER isn't always blasting from beginning to end. They have these evil early DEICIDE influences inherited from the first album. The band plays on different musical ground, mid tempos old school death metal to old school blasting à la old MORBID ANGEL. Many tempo changes, classical death metal riffing (but where are the fucking guitar solos?) they remind me their landmates of FUNERATUS.
It's a good demo release, even sounding close to an honest death metal album, so what the fuck the band is doing? Let's harass them for some more stuff.
