It's a re-release of the 2004 version originally released by unknown Torment records, a second chance to discover the chilean death horde (with their demo 2002 as bonus which lengthened the release uselessly because except one, the tracks are still on « Fall slowly... »).
Except their landmates of MELEKTAUS I haven't heard such an intense album from Chile for a while. ORATEGOD surprises me with a well done relase of dark and evil brutal death metal, nothing groundbreaking, but the fury displayed all along the tracks altered by slower means and radical guitars solos make you feel like you'd be living in hell, getting kicked in the ass constantly by the devil and his minions.
The vokills are amazingly guttural reminding those from YATTERING « Murder's concept ». Musically the almost incessant pounding can remind RAVAGER with a hellish catacombs alike mood quite close to the first NILE album.
The lack of breaks and slowdowns (except on the last track with its MORBID ANGEL influence) could be the main reproach.
