SPLATORGY is recent band created in late 2006. After some line-up changes, some gigs, a 4 promo track, they recorded this demo. SPLATORGY defines their music as goregrind which is not completely true. I mean SPLATORGY definitively got some influences into goregrind but they also have grindcore influences and some uncommon riffs and structures. Of course the songs are short, with low tuned guitars, guttural vocals (these ones are excellent!), screams, fast blast parts, etc… A name came immediately in mind listening to SPLATORGY and that is they landmates of DEAD INFECTION of course. This said, SPLATORGY is not just a single copy but does things different the use of weird riffs sometimes or playing a deathlike slow track. This reminds me what BRUTAL TRUTH did on “Need to control”. On the other hand, this demo is not exempt of reproaches: some riffs are too common and some parts of the songs sound a bit hazardous.
The band needs to improve the songwriting to increase the efficiency; they have the possibilities of life destruction. I just wonder what happened to Petro’s girlfriend.
