NECROVOROUS started its nefarious activities in 2005 with only two deranged dudes nicely named Pigfucker and Shiteater. Both guys seemed to be completely devoted to death metal, gore and underground. This tape gathered their three demos. The least we can say is that NECROVOROUS is into death metal in its purest and filthiest form.
To be honest, NECROVOROUS is completely uninspired and when you listen to their stuff you immediately think about AUTOPSY and ABSCESS. But fuck, these guys released such a dirty, infamous and ugly death metal where you can smell a wind of pestilence I must say I am pleased listening to their music even if the tracks are unequal in efficiency. But before all, it’s the whole macabre mood they create with their basic death metal with touches of old school grindcore à la IMPETIGO, using as well horror movies samples, that is convincing. NECROVOROUS plays its death metal the way it was played during the old days, pillaging without shame AUTOPSY’s heritage. But the guys don’t give a fuck and certainly played for themselves and a fistful of maniacs.
The band has some nice zombifying slow and sinister parts, cool solos and many deathly vocals variations and introduce some chilling arpeggios to keep a black as pitch vibe all along the tracks. This is a must for any AUTOPSY/ABSCESS freaks.
