INHERIT DISEASE Procreating an apocalypse Review

INHERIT DISEASE (US) – Procreating an apocalypse
CD 2006 – Unique Leader Records
10 tracks – 32’07
Rated: 5/10

The brutal bands factory Unique Leader keeps on releasing more and more ultra brutal albums with more or less quality and with bands that rarely manage to offer something neither unique nor personal. There are few exceptions where bands have a potential or are able to compose good shit like MORTAL DECAY, VILE or INVERACITY.
So today we welcome INHERIT DISEASE, a band which is obviously not aimed at softness as you can imagine. This is just typical US brutal death metal, rather technical reminding a bit of SEVERED SAVIOR but not always on blast-beats carnage and using a lot more of double kick drums patterns for the sake of diversity. This way of playing is not far from what VILE did on their albums, pretty catchy slowdowns. INHERIT DISEASE distinguishes from the bands mentioned with the use of gory low vocals à la DISGORGE that become monotonous on a longer basis.
There’s nothing more to add: INHERIT DISEASE is composed of skilful musicians but their music is just average and has nothing more to offer than mastered brutality. Those looking for any obscure mood or any grave emanations are advised to check something else for sure.
