We cannot say the intro let occurs something original with hundred times heard “The exorcist” sample however when the first track starts you’re engulfed in a dark blasphemous death metal. Pretty raw, probably because of a cryptic rehearsal condition, it gives a dirty but decent sound reminding some NIHILIST. The influences comes from the early 90’s death metal genitors with MORBID ANGEL (Blessed are the sick) & DEATH (Scream bloody gore). Some obvious influences you may say although DEATHRONATION doesn’t just do cut and paste music. I don’t know what’s wrong with this demo, it’s well played and got an obscure vibe but something is missing to be a complete carnage. It’s probably due to some quite common riffs or the fact that there are more and more bands playing old school death metal nowadays. This is not bad but DEATHRONATION is at the first death step, recently deceased step, so await more when the putrefaction really begins.
