Old school freaks may be pleased by those pretty nice three demo-tracks. Although it started with haunting keyboards you can fear some wimp music but COFFIN BIRTH plays some blackened heavy/thrash metal. The black and thrash metal sides can remind some NECRODEATH and the heavy side is without any doubt (and the guys didn’t hide the influence) to seek towards KING DIAMOND with heavy metal oriented guitar solos.
The parsimonious use of keyboards creates some dark and ghastly atmospheres without sounding cheap. That reminds also the Japanese SIGH with their horror black/heavy metal although COFFIN BIRTH is less deranged and grandiloquent.
If you know GHOUL with their horror obsessed death/grind, COFFIN BIRTH is the Transylvanian version of GHOUL with a more heavy/black approach. The ideal soundtrack for your cemetery night’s party!
